PORCH LIGHTS with 21 WARM WHITE LEDs AND
UPGRADE MODULES FOR EXTERIOR 12-30 Volt APPLICATIONS
These LED lights and upgrade kits were designed to be true replacements for the 12 volt exterior lights used in RV’s,
Cargo Trailers, Marine and other low voltage, exterior applications. Each board has 21 warm white, high output LEDs generating
excellent color and output similar to the incandescent lights they are designed to replace. They are engineered to deliver maximum
light output at 12 volts while not being damaged by over-voltage (up to 30 VDC). Aside from complete light assemblies, they are also offered
in several kits to easily upgrade your existing lights at an affordable price. Our kits easily fit into Command Electronic
lights and may work with other brands of lights using either wedge-base bulbs or bayonet (BA15S).

The 21 warm white LEDs in these modules deliver 357 Lumens of light and are 20% brighter than the 922
bulbs typically used in RV porch lights.

What These are not:
With LED's, it all gets down to proper engineering and how many LED's you can have pointing toward your work area. We designed this board
to exceed the brightness of the standard 922 bulb commonly used in RV porch lights by 20%. In addition, we
built a board that produces a natural, warm white color very similar to incandescent bulbs and not the blue-ish hue of some LEDs.
We investigated
the “socket-style” bulb replacements initially. They are easy, plug in bulb replacements, but more often than not, you're lucky if you
get six small LEDs that actually point
where you need them. These types of LED’s are inexpensive and easy to install, but we found the light
output was as little as 1/6 of an incandescent bulb and they often have a harsh, antiseptic, blue-white color. These replacement LED "bulbs" have
their place, but are simply not the equivalent of the incandescent bulbs they are replacing.
How Bright Are They?
Our 21 LED modules are 20% brighter than the standard 922 incandescent bulbs usually found in RV porch lights. They are 6 times brighter than the plug-in bulb style
LED modules as the chart below shows:
These 21 LED boards were designed to be brighter than the 12 candlepower incandescent bulb they replace.
Why Change To LED:
- Energy Efficient. Our 21 LED lights draw only 0.32 amps compared to a 922 bulb which draws .98 amps.
- Less Heat. These LED porch lights and modules run at just over room temperature.
- Excellent Cold Weather Performance. LEDs are un-affected by cold weather.
- Increased Reliability. No bulbs to replace. These LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours of service. These lights are
also designed to withstand voltage surges up to 30 volts DC.
- Earth Friendly. Our warm white LED lights & modules are RoHS compliant.
- Easy installation. These LED lights have built-in polarity correction and can be wired up without concern. If you’re replacing
incandescent bulbs in your existing Command Electronics porch lights (and many other brands), simply remove the old bulb,
plug the new board in.
- Great, Natural Color. Our LED boards use high output Warm White LEDs. These are not like the typical blue-tint LEDs found in many
low power LED applications.
Easy Installation:
If you're installing complete LED light fixtures, installation is a simple 2 wire hook up. The polarity is corrected on the board so you
can't damage the unit by wiring it up wrong.
If you're using the LED modules to retro-fit your existing lights, strips of 3M VHB high temperature tape are pre-applied to the back of the printed circuit board. Installation is easy –
just plug them into your existing light bulb socket and attach with the pre-applied 3M VHB tape.
Technical Stuff:
These LED lights and
modules operate on 12 to 30 volts DC. In all cases, their amp draw is a fraction of the electrical current requirements of conventional
bulbs and they can reduce the operating temperature of your lights by 150° F per bulb!

LED Conversion Kits
Warm White 21 LED Board with Wedge Style Plug & Bayonet Adapter
This board is exactly the same as used in all of our 21 LED warm white exterior and porch light applications and has a wedge base socket and an adapter to use
with BA15S Bayonet style sockets. The board has been conformal coated to protect it from moisture, making it an excellent choice for outdoor applications.
This board operates from 10 - 30 volts DC and draws 0.32 amps at 12 volts. It reaches it's maximum brightness at 12 volts.
These modules fit industry standard wedge base sockets and have two short wire leads. An adapter is included to use this board with single contact bayonet
style sockets (BA15S).

Command Round 12 Volt LED Porch Light
Another new unique product available only at Command Electronics. The round
design eliminates alignment problems during installation and compliments round exterior speakers and security lights. This
porchlight is available with clear or amber lens, with or without a switch. Compact design fits where others won't. The optics
in this lens focus the light more than other porch lights producing a brighter light pattern in a
smaller area.
